Park & Walk will endeavor to protect your privacy and the information we collect. We do not share any customer information with any 3rd parties and no booking information/Customer information is used for any marketing purposes. Below we will set out details of how and why we collect your data and how we handle this data.

Why we collect your data

To fulfill a contract

We collect your name, email, phone number, and vehicle details to ensure we are able to fulfill any booking you make with us and confirm your identity for security. We may although very rarely use your personal details for marketing purposes or to contact you about any other product but again these details are not shared with any other 3rd party for these purposes.

Sharing your information

We do not share your details with any 3rd party unless the details are required to be provided to submit a claim or legal case. If this is necessary we will endeavor to ensure the 3rd party is competent in regard to handling and storing your personal data and we will only provide them with information that is completely necessary.

Protecting your Data

We take all necessary steps to protect your data against loss, destruction, and unlawful use. Our website is protected by encryption and storage of personal data is stored behind password-protected login which only selected staff have access to.

We are PCI compliant and set our booking process and payment options up to avoid any unnecessary storage or handling of your payment information.

How long your data is kept

If you have a valid booking with us we are required to keep your account information for 3 months following the end of your booking.

We are obligated by law and other regulatory purposes to keep your completed booking information for at least 7 years.

You can request to delete your account and account information from our system by sending an email to [email protected] but we will be obligated to archive any information required for legal reasons.

Your Personal Data Rights

It is your right to be able to request from us any information we hold on you. If a simple request is made, the service of us providing this information is free of charge.

Your information can be requested by emailing us at [email protected] with the following info: Your full name, all of your email addresses you have used during the input of the requested information. The specific information required i.e. for a specific booking includes the date ranges the booking entailed. We cannot provide this information unless we are provided with ID proof of your identity and the information is regarding you.

We endeavor to answer your request within 30 days of receiving it.

Deletion Rights: We are able to delete certain pieces of personal information. This can be requested by emailing [email protected]. Please note that in regards to certain pieces of information we are obligated by law to keep this information, although this information will be archived.

Correction Rights: If any information we hold on you happens to be incorrect you are entitled to request it be corrected. This can be done most easily by logging into your account and amending directly or by emailing us at [email protected]. Please note we are not able to amend your email or password information.

Portability Rights: In certain cases, we are able to move/transfer your personal information when requested.

Restriction Rights: In certain circumstances, you will be entitled to request that we restrict our processing of your personal information. If you believe that the personal information we hold for you is incorrect you can ask us to stop processing it.
